Looking to do a major upgrade this Fall to my Camaro, I have done the small things such as headers, gears, CAI, exhaust and programmer. I'm wanting to stroke the block but want a good idea of what route to go, 383 or 396. Also is there a bigger stroke I can go past the 396, it's a LT1 by the way.
Boring does not give any substantial hp increase, therefore not worth the $300 or so to the machine shop. Only bore if the cylinders are out of round or have imperfections.
