Another center console question

Anyone have pics of where the shifter boot is on a 97+ camaro? I think I may have a piece broken, cause I have no idea how to get it to actually clip in and stay there.(the boot that is.) I'd like to order a new boot from redline but don't know if it will even stay in, or if I need a different size because of my hurst shifter?

Edit: on the two zoomed in pictures, anyone know if there's a piece broken off there? at the bottom? it kinda has that broken plastic look where its white at the part that snapped off

Nothing wrong with your console. The ring I linked has multiple latching points so it'll hold even if a chunk of your console was missing.

In the link I posted, in the first pic of my console, you can't see it, but one of the tabs is actually broken. With the new ring, you wouldn't know. Fits snug, with no issues. In fact, I've swapped to a GTO boot/knob combination with a Hurst STS, and not wanting to cut/ruin the GTO boot, I did NOT cut slits into the leather. Doesn't matter, the clip works so well, it actually holds it in place even better this way.
And again, you'd never know the difference:

I think that's an older pic, I've since shorted the shift stick and it's given the boot a little more slack. I'll see if I can find the pic.

Edit- here's a 'newer' pic, with the stick shortened about a half-inch since the above pic:
