Brake light on dash comes on randomly

Anybody have this problem? I have a 1995 camaro z28 and the brake light comes on randomly for no reason and I would like to know why. Thanks

Moved to 4th gen 93-97 tech.

My first guess is you have a failing ABS sensor.

As mentioned ^ failing sensor or low brake fluid are the most likely culprits.

The brake fluid is fine so I'm assuming its the abs sensor. How hard is it to replace that?

ABS light or Brake light?
If the brake light it could be the switch for the parking brake handle.

It's the brake light, not the abs light. And I made sure the e brake wasn't engaged. Someone mentioned it could be some switch that got stuck. Does anyone know about that?

I had a problem in my 94z28 that when i would launch hard the lever would lift just high enough to turn on the light. Could that be the problem?

I'd check the brake switch. I've never looked for them on a camaro but they're almost always on the brake pedal.

The brake switch on the pedal doesn't have anything to do with the Brake warning light on the instrument panel.
