It'll be loud as shit. Good for a track car, bad for a dd.
Its all about preference though.
If you do it and drive around alot expect some tickets

Will sound like a straight piped truck... Loud and obnoxious.

I had a cat and muffler delete on my 305 tpi...it wasnt unbearably loud. I thought it sounded awesome. I drove right in front of and behind and next to cops and never got so much as a look from them.

Only thing is I've heard fuel injected engines need some sort of back pressure otherwise something can go bad in the engine. I possibly created a valve tick from lack of back pressure but I don't kno for sure.

It might sound cool to ya at first, but you'll get annoyed by it in not too long. I had an exhaust leak (like the pipe was just completely disconnected) for a little while. Although I didn't get any tickets (even after passing a decent amount of cops with it), it got annoying.

It all depends, people said I'd get annoyed of it and I never did. Even on freeways I never got annoyed of it. If anything it made me love my car even more lol but to each his own

Be ready to breath in exhaust fumes when your sitting idling at a light.
For one thing it's unsafe. For another probably illegal in most states to not have the exhaust go all the way to the rear end of the car.

You will burn up your floor carpet and start to promote your floor pan to rot out if you dump your exhaust from the cat. All that heat is also getting dumped right on the tail end of your transmission. I wouldn't do it.

I mean like, sure, I love loud exhaust myself, but it sounded like some kinda overly-loud motorcycle or something, and everyone I know was givin me hell for it.

And like Navy said, the more annoying part to me was the fumes. That'll become annoying to you and your passengers.

Any alternatives? I like loud exhaust, I don't really care what the setup is as long as its loud and I don't have to spend so much damn money. I was thinking about just getting a cutout and be done with it

Just throw a friggin Thrush glass pack on after the cat, they're cheap and don't sound as terrible as no exhaust. Then run some piping out the side of the car or something.

I put a flow master kit on mine and removed the catalyst from inside the converter. That gave mine a really nice growl and bark.
