Time for a diff. fluid change. If that doesn't fix it, the diff. is not working correctly and likely needs replaced.

Ok how much do the differentials run? I'm probably going to go 3:73 when I change it, found a 5.3 ls1 for 550 thinking about possibly swapping to that I'm not sure if its worth it yet ?

A 5.3 isn't an LS1 its actually the LM7 or (L59/LM4/L33) ... Either way, would be a good base for a build.

I think its a waste to swap since you already have a V8 and don't let all the LSx fanboys tell you the LT1 is shit. You already have a good motor to start a build with.

Won't do any good without the ECU or harness.

Also this. Your car already has the LT1. I would keep it. And put the money towards building/modding it instead of a swap.

This...

It might be 550 for the engine, but a swap will nickel and dime the hell out of you, and you will end up having to spend a lot more than that. Just use the money to beef up your LT.

Since you have done intake and exhaust. I would go with heads and a cam yes. Maybe some rearend gears like you said.
