You have a manual transmission. The light dangling down there is your ash tray light.
This is the center console light

Center Console Light with Lights Off (Notice no Ash Tray Light)

Lights On

Just took the ash tray light out so you can see it better.

My ashtray light clips in under the ash tray itself.

How long does it take for the battery to be drained down? I was working on a truck one time with a battery drain and finally traced it down to the altenator. The altenator was charging fine but when the truck was off and had not been running for the motor to be hot , you could feel the altenator and it would be warm. I guess it had short inside it.remove the wires on the altenator and let it set overnight to see if the battery drains and that will eliminate it.

I bet it's the console light if it takes about 2 days to kill the battery. I had a busted hinge on my console lid, that didn't allow the lid to shut all the way. You could BARELY see that the light was still on after you shut the lid.

Pull the cigarette lighter out and make sure that a piece of foil from a gum wrapper hasn't gotten into the socket where the lighter goes.

Had this happen in my 75 Vet years ago.
Drove me nuts until I figured it out.

Also pull the lighter out and leave it out to make sure it isn't stuck.

also try checking your battery terminals and the connector that connect to the battery for corrosion cause if its go a little corrosion on it and you can get a solid connection to then its like having a short it will drain ur battery i had this experience a few months ago i went to advanced auto got the battery terminal cleaner and protector and and now I'm all good... ...its just an idea ...cause sometime its the little thing that make a big difference cause we tend to over look the little things
