spark plug wires

I have a question. What is the best way to access the passenger side spark plug wires? I've been cussing at this car for a while and the only way I see to do it is to remove the p/s pump to get the wires out and around the p/s line that routes down to the rack and pinion.

Loosen ps pump take off alternator and starter then fish the wires behind the ps pump it i a huge pain in the ass but eventually you will get them and make sure there in the slots or the belt will hit them

Wow, really? eck. I have the p/s pump loose, but it still has the original wire holder underneath the metal line on the p/s pump. There is no way to fish them out. But I will take the starter out too and see what happens. Thanks.

I got it. Here's what I did. I took the alternator off, loosened the p/s pump but left it hanging. The wires will pass through between the acc. bracket and the lower p/s metal line. I did have to take the belt tensioner completely off to get the spark plug wires on the distributor.
