I'm looking for a rough idea of what the limits are on a stock lt1 crank with forged rods, and pistons. How high can I spin it and what are the power limitations?
You really shouldn't put more than 425 hp (crank) through that block without splayed caps...and I wouldn't turn it more than 6000 rpm with 6200 being the absolute...of course it really depends on how much track time it will see...
Honestly I'll probably only go once or twice a year, and make 3-4 passes each time
