V6 Canister Purge Solonoid Clicking

Looking for help on our RS. Replaced the solenoid a few times, still clicking like mad when it warms up. You can smell fumes a bit, car at times can run rough. Hesitates a bit at high RPMs, seems sluggish.

- Haven't tried replacing control valve as there is no codes
- Recent intake manifold replaced
- Cleaned MAF and Throttle body

Hoping a canister or fuel pump would give a code. as Fuel pump would be a pia.

Any suggestions? 109k on car

Thanks

What makes you think there's a problem? Mine clicks like that too. The rough running and hesitation is not likely from the EVAP system unless there's a good size vac. leak.

I will look for a vacuum leak. I just assume that the clicking is wrong. I can even hear it inside the car. Doesn't seem right. I have some new plug wires coming and will look for vac leaks further

Thanks

This may sound dumb but have you changed the canister?
