Has anyone seen this before? The speedometer never worked in this car when I purchased it. Have been working with it. I pulled the VSS and used a drill to turn it, the speedometer reacted. So I know ( or think I do) that the signal is reaching the cluster and that the cluster is working. So I pulled the back of the transition off to see if the ring gear is damaged. It is not and they are making contact. The only thing I do see is that the ring gear is green and the VSS drive gear is gray. I am told that the green gears are 35 teeth? That the gray is 44? Even with the difference I would think the speedometer should show something ??? Anyone messed with this on a 1993 TA automatic??
