Window part??!!

I have manual windows and there are plastic hooks that are connected to the windows and slide into a slot to keep the window on track when it is rolled up. Does anyone know what this is called or where to get it??

I'd go to a junkyard for it. It seems to me like an oddball part. Unless someone else can have better input.

I think it's called a stop or "up stop," because it stops the window from going too far up.

The inside piece is called a " wedge".. The piece that's Opposite on the other side of the glass... .. GM Part #10298247 .... I'm working on the part you are asking about GM 10298247 Side Door Window 'Wedges' 1993 2002 Camaro Firebird | eBay "Window glass retainer ..... Second pic and link is the whole piece, front and back including bolt, a used part tho, but still the part you are looking for. http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-02-Camaro...c9193b&vxp=mtr

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Luos
If they are like the parts I got for my Grand Ma GT....they can be purchased at a local parts place. Dorman makes replacement stuff for EVERYTHING!

I'd send you one I have leftover....but it doesn't look like that one.
I'll go check them here in a minute.
If this is it, I can send. PM me an address if so. I only have, the picture shows two different ones.

I need the other one with the hook on it. I really appreciate it Guys. And thanks for the offer but maybe someone else could actually use it I'd hate to have it if someone else needed it you know? And thanks ercman. I'll look into that and also check some other stores out. I've never heard of dormans sadly. I live in sarasota fl. So i'll check out some local stores and Chevy also if needed and let you guys know what I find. Thanks again! Life savers!!!

Well guys I replaced both hooks on the window and adjusted it multiple times but it still doesn't close right and match the seal. And it's really lose compared to the other one. What do you guys think I should do or try? Maybe a new seal? I'm lost!!

Check that the 4 rivets holding the regulator have not stretched their holes on the inside of the door.

It's a manual window. Sorry probably should have mentioned that. Unless it still had a regulator but I thought that was electrical haha

All auto windows have regulators, Manual and electric. The regulator is the scissor looking mechanism that the window crank and motor move to raise and lower the window. Pictured is a 93-02 window regulator with electric window motor

Ohh. I learned something new haha well by the inside I assume he meant on the regulator itself or just on the door frame? I'm not sure where they would be but I'm guessing I can just look for the connections? And if they have widened what do I do? Tighten it? Adjust it?
