Windshield wipers for a 97' camaro

Alright, so I've seen a bunch of threads about the issue that the J hook is upside down on the LT1 4th gens. Most of what I see is that you either buy trico brand online for an exact fit, or you could get the wiper arms off of a 98-02. I was wondering just so I can keep the wind deflectors since I like the look, is there any way to just remove the j hook from the deflector, flip it and put it back in so it's like a normal every other car j hook?
