Im 16 gonna get my license soon and id like to get a 2001 or 2002 v6 camaro or firebird i will be added to my parents insurance but id like to know the price range for insurance on those cars for a 16 year old.

We would be guessing you would be any where between 1500-6000 a year depending on the company your best bet is calling a insurance broker and have them shop around for the best rate

To be added to your parents existing policy shouldn't be too terrible. Opening a separate individual policy will get expensive.

there's to many variables; your driving record, parents record, insurance history, owned outright, bank loan, color, car, year, location, transmission, insurance company, time with company. just have your parents call and get a quote

My 75 trans am was 600 a month when I was 16 under my name, so I've been staying under my parents insurance so it was 180. My current fbody was more and it is 200. My buddy's 2014 mustang GT is 215 a month, he under his parents insurance still. It upsetting that his insurance isn't much more than mine.
