Battery replacement for my '90 V6 camaro

Hi guys,

sorry for that silly questions.. but I need to change the battery of my 1990 camaro V6 3.1L

if I find here in Italy something similar to this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ul...-091/overview/
will be fine?

(summit racing will not send by air/internationally so for this part I've to find here)

one more thing... someone knows which specs has the original battery?!

many thanks

The red top optima battery part number you need is 75-25.
Yellow top is the D75-25. The "D" designates a deep cycle battery. If you are curious about a deep cycle (yellow top) one.

thanks! for what I've understood from Optima website, the "yellow top" (deep cycle) are for veicle start + manage external devices (winches, additional lights, DVD palyer etcetc) that battery give more power to other device... If I need only for startup red top will be fine, right?

thanks again!!!

Correct !! Except, for the giving more power part. A deep cycle battery, can be discharged completely and come back. Unlike a regular battery. If its discharged completely, usually its toast. If you don't need the deep cycling, then the red top will do.
The red top is just a starter battery, but with Optima's Spiral cel technology. Completely sealed and can be mounted in any position. I love'm. Had a yellow top in my 92 Camaro. Can't afford one now.
