Default Hesitation under load

have a 99 v6 camaro with the 5 speed, when in 3rd 4th and 5th gear when i step in the gas the car will hesitate to go and lag real bad....have gotten many different inputs on it....anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

How long since the fuel filter has been changed.
Do that and if it still does it have the fuel pressure checked with a direct reading guage hooked to the test port.
It should read 40 to 44 psi at all times.

i replaced the fuel filter a couple days ago...where is the test port so i can check it?

On the fuel rail near the regulator.
You might also check the vacuum line to the regulator and see if it has fuel in it, signifying a failed regulator.

What RPM range are we talking about here?
