Would it be cheaper to get a fuel injected 305 (with appropriate wiring harness of course) or the fuel injected 2.8 v6 that it already has? :dunnorebult or crate)
Id like to get good gas mileage but still have power to boot.
Also if i do get the 305 id need a beefier drive train too right.
Any input is much obliged?:icon15:
I'd just look for a junk donor car and rebuild the motor in it. That would be your cheapest route. a crate motor is going to run you quite a bit of money.
Do you know if they sell them at all because i might have a 305 available out of a 88 monte(from my dad)(its carb though) id still have to find a harness and a fuel injection system. and rebulid it also and possibly the donor car could cost as much as buying a crate.
Thanks i appreciate it. if i have any more questions about it i'll post.(more to come)
