Too vague to answer. There's multiple combinations and different stock 350s all with different power.
And going through the trouble of upgrading all that and not touching the heads will most likely choke your engine and not let it have it's max potential.
You need to be more specific on what 350 you're starting with. If it's a factory engine, what year and car is it in?
Of the 5 parts listed.................. pistons, rods, crank, intake and carb, only the intake and carb will give any hp gains. If the new pistons are domed, then they would increase hp, slightly, by increasing compression. If they are stock replacements, than there will be no gain. Rods won't really increase hp, unless they are lighter than what's in the engine now, This will decrease mass, therefore allowing a slight increase in quicker rev's. And the same with the crank unless it s a stroker, this would increase cubic inches, therefore increasing hp.
If the pistons are the same as stock, there will be no gain. I would guess the factory pistons are also flat tops. Any 70/80's engines were the worst for hp from the factory. To really see any significant hp gains you would need to upgrade the heads, intake and carb, which has already been mentioned. Plus......... headers, exhaust....... you could always buy a stroker kit, without being bored, the engine would be a 377, this would net ho gains. If you are going to go though the trouble of tearing down the engine for basically a rebuild, I would have the block bored, then get a stroker kit and add previous mentioned parts.
Zero gain in using that bottom end...your power upgrade will be in intake and carb which will probably only net you about 20 hp if tuned properly...
All MAJOR power upgrades are produced in combination of both cam and heads...
As mentioned, 70's/80's motors came with absolute crap for power...putting a strong bottom end in is only good if you are using a good cam with heads that flow for the cams application...big heads do not necessarily equal big power...
I don't think you're going to be happy with a 20 hp gain for your $1000-$1200 investment...snatch a good cam (like a Comp Cams XE268) and a good set of heads (like a set of Vortecs) for about another $500 and be putting about 315-335 hp at the wheels...
If all you are going to do is build a STOCK motor, why waste the money on an Eagle rotating assembly?
Just buy a $350 Federal Mogul master rebuild kit and save yourself about $500...that FedMo kit will take all the power that stock motor can muster, trust me...
Honestly if the motor doesn't need a rebuild to run good get a good cam intake carb it'll wake your car up and is a lot cheaper and less time consuming than a bottom end tear down
Knowing that you were talking about a LT1 rather than a old school 350 as your thread suggested would have been useful info from the start. Obviously running a carb on a LT platform is silly. One of the biggest limiting factors in building power with LT1s are the heads. There are lots of great cams for LT1s but most require ported heads at minimum. Remember that LT1 are not like traditional 350 motors and parts are not interchangeable.
Reverse flow heads are a killer but knowing that we're talking about an lt motor i would look into an lt4 hot cam and a good exhaust but if your going to tear it down the ticket for lt are a 383 imo

There's nothing wrong with reverse flow heads. LT1s are leaps and bounds better than old school 350s that being said hot cam kits are overplayed and not the best bang for your buck as far as far as cams for LT1s go.
If the wire harness came from a car with an auto Trans you will have to have the Trans tuned out as a 700r4 is not computer controlled. You will have to rig up a TV cable to control down shifts and Trans pressure.
Any way you could just part with the 700R4 and get the 4L60E for the engine? Assuming the PCM and wire harness came from an automatic trans car. The 4L60E is the computer controlled version of the 700R4.
Yea I got the parts cheap I got everything the motor PCM wiring harness the trans
