I have a 91 RS 305 camaro. Can someone tell me about how much it would cost to convert it to an lt1 or an ls1 manual? Or which one would be the best?

LTx swap 1500-2500 if you do the work yourself. Could be cheaper if you find some deals.

LSx swap 2500-3500 depending on cost of parts.

4.9/5.3/lq4/lq9 swap around 1500 if you find deals and do it yourself.

Depends on the parts and if you do it yourself or not. My roomate has a 89 rs 3rd gen and he built a v8 357 and a manual trans for it and all together it was about $7,000

good question... I have the LT1....I wonder how much I can get for the 4L60E... I still need to find a T56.. I wish I could build a t5 to handle what I want to throw at it... but it just isnt going to work. what you guys are saying about price are polar opposites.. I'd say (if you have time) post a list of all the parts he's going to need with the prices.... that would help him (and me) out more than just throwing #'s at us.
