ac belt?

My ac belt is as right as it can be with the ac off, but when I turn the ac on and clutch kicks on the belt has about a 1" play in it

So it's tight until the ac turns on? Might be something up with the tensioner edit: if it's serp

if its serp id say bad tensioner spring.and if its v belt proll reved to high n streched the belt
my father-in-laws t type tosses belts like theres no tommrrow cause it revs so high.hes wajtin on serp setup so he can actually drive it.

Idk how old doesn't look bad as far as cracks etc. , I think redline is 5500
