Exclamation cylinder deactivation? any way of doing this to a 350 chevy

iv been reading about the new 2014 corvette it is a 4cylinder untill you need the power to save gas can i do this to my 350.

Unlikely. You'll need a new CPU and a bunch of other stuff. Or a 2014 corvette engine

Haven't the Cadillacs been trying this since like the late 80's and early 90's? It didn't work well iirc. You could go get all the wiring of the 2014 vette and put it in your car but short of that...

New camaros have (had?) that option. If it's something you want you're better off with a different car. The cost to fab something like that up would be more than the gas you could potentially save.

I guess you could go get the motor and harness out of the newish avalanches and a few other Chevy vehicles... You would either have to completely require everything, or get a really really custom harness... Plus why here are many drawbacks to this.

Edit: also not being a dock, but you could have totally put this into your other thread about better MPG...
