Tail light question?

Okay, my RS has tail lights with a single black bar in the middle. I was looking for the tail lights with two bars, so it sets the lights into three groups. Does anyone know which camaro they come off? And where would be a fairly cheap place to get them?

They are ok, but the ones from the 91-92's (ones you are looking for) look better.

As far as cheap place to get them, try local salvage yard. Or maybe ebay. Since now you know what years they are from. Tail lights from a 91-92.

Check your salvage yard first. If they have good ones, you can get out of there for like 30-60 dollars

And doubt you would find "both sides" for less than $100. Not in decent shape anyways.

My thoughts exactly. And honestly????? I have them on my car and have considered making custom flat ones since I hate these lol. If you want them go ahead but eww... And yeah 120-130 is normal unless you pick them up at a junkyard...

91-92 RS models..... and after further searching, yes, IROC's got them too. Just broadens his search results, which is a good thing. :-)

Yeah 82-84 had the bar, 85 and up Z28/IROC got the grid style. Camaro and RS kept the bar ones even past 85 to 90 I think and then switched over to grid. Try Craigslist since getting them local will almost always be cheapest. I've seen them for as low as 25 each side around here from people parting out cars. I was thinking about getting another set to tint, but decided against it. Of course they would be used just like the junkyards, so just got to make sure they aren't cracked/leaking etc.

Yeah. Thats the worry with all yard parts.. Thats why i tend not to pull engine parts or electronics from there, my junkyards dont allow you to bring in testers.
