Washed engine, showing TPS code. Help!

Hey guys, I washed the engine on my 86 Iroc and now I'm showing a tps code. The car seems to run fine. Should I unplug it and let it dry out? I drove it to work today but I want the engine light to dissapear

Likely your TPS is cracked or loose. It probably got water in it. You can try taking it out and letting it dry, but I wouldn't risk any further issues coming up and just replace it.
