why? flooding

Why when I put my car in reverse and punch it, my car stalls and floods?

if u wanted to do it yourself heres a pic of how to you pull the screw on the side of the bowl.then turn the adjustment screw on the top of the bowl until you only see a vary small amount of fuel coming out of the bowl.then put the plug back in the side.
if you have the plexi sight on the side you jus adjust it until it bairly touches the bottom of the
sight. and dont forget the back too.

I punched it and when I let off the gas it stalled, then wouldn't start, I want going fast, I didn't even reach 10 mph
