24lb injectors

I'm looking at these injectors on CL, was hoping someone on here could enlighten me more on what I'm getting into.
I know I'll need a tune, but I'm curious about what will happen to my gas mileage, and the kind of gains id be looking at. Thanks!

You would be looking at no gains. Larger fuel injectors are a supporting mod to things that require more fuel, such as a large cam , or forced induction setups. They are not performance mods in themselves.

Besides, stock LS1 injectors are larger than 24lbs. Depending on year, the LS1 injectors are between 26.4 and 28.8.

Might I suggest you do some actual research on the engine and mods for it before you actually look at buying anything?

I didn't buy it yet. This is my research. Much easier to ask all of my questions here and get answers from people I trust.
Sorry for using the forum as it is intended to be used.

I have read that stock LS1 injectors are good for up to 500 n/a hp. That being said, you don't want to go above 80% service. In other words, Don't want the injectors working above 80% of their capacity.

Don't believe what you read. My stock LS1 injectors were almost maxed out (above 80%) with just an intake and true dual catback. 315rwhp/330rwtq through a stock 4L60E and a 10 bolt. Most people need 42lb/hr and up injectors for 500 HP... NA or FI or n2o. You can in theory raise the fuel line pressure to make stock injectors work, but that also has its own set of challenges (increasing pressure decreases flow, idle tuning issues, etc.) and it's typically easier to just buy the proper injectors for the job.

That said, buying injectors for a stock LS1 is pointless. Injectors need to be selected to match the desired power level. Stock LS1 injectors are perfectly matched for stock LS1 power levels.

That is the fuel pump.

And even still, it varies depending on the way the power is being made. If forced induction, it will require more fuel.

As for the injectors as a mod, they are not. They support other mods, basically....you upgrade when you need too and not until then. And 24# injectors are smaller than factory, as mentioned.
What are you looking at doing with the car? Just a little power or???

I am below 500whp and my donkey dick cam required me to jump up to larger injectors. In Forza if you upgrade the fuel system you get more horsepower!!!

Damn y'all ! I think ONE lashing is enough!!!!! I got it!! Don't believe everything u read! This being said, I guess I shouldn't believe what I read on this site either. And Stock injectors are barely enough to support a stock LS1! I will STFU, and only give advice on stuff I "know".... Car audio and truck driving.

When I went from 24 lb to 36 lb injectors i picked up 10 mph in the quarter. Although my car shouldve never been run with stock injectors lol

I am pretty sure that having devices that force more air into your engine will require larger injectors...

Just a little power, ya.
Someone offered me these, I wasn't specifically looking for them. So figured I'd ask about them before purchasing
