A/c compressor leaking.

At the beginning of summer I had the a/c recharged in my 3.8. It lasted half a month before it stopped cooling. I noticed the compressor was clanking badly so I thought that was it. I swapped in the v8 with a used ls1 compressor. And had it recharged. I noticed a large amount of line green 134r collecting all over the bottom of the compressor. The hose on the back is clean and tight. Is this an internal compressor problem? Do i need a new one? It just now started not cooling, a month after charging it.

Where is the best place to get a new compressor?

Your compressor is most likely leaking from just behind the clutch or the o-rings on the back. Did you replace the o-rings with the motor swap?

Last time I got a compressor i got it from autozone with a lifetime warranty it was around $130ish haven't had any issues with it since.

The o rings on the hose? They are very clean. The back of the compressor is clean.

The compressor is shot the. It's either raking g from the front or it has a crack in the compressor.

when you attached the hose,,did you get some of the A/C Peg oil and lube the oil rings for the lines,, that prevents them from leaking. Never install any seal dry. If that's all good, gonna half to bite the bullet and get a new compressor.
