Clutch Bearing - Issues

I've got around 122k on my '02 Camaro, and today noticed a weird sound.

As I'm approaching a stop sign, I coast with the clutch in and reduce speed until stopped. (probably for the last 10ft). Somewhere in that time frame, a screeching/grinding noise happens quite regularly.

Anyone have similar experiences? Any idea what this could be? I'm thinking some kind of bearing wearing within the clutch.

Is it a pain in the a** to get to the clutch on an '02 Camaro? Seems to be.

Thanks in advance.

Put the tranny in neutral and let the cluttch out when you're coasting and see if it goes away.
Does your car have the 2 piece drive shaft?
If so, check the center bearing.
