Headlight removal on 98-02

Stupid question but I can't find the answer for a firebird (I found it for a camaro) of how to remove the headlights. I'm trying to get the front bumper off and read I need to take the headlights out. I see 4 10mm bolts on each headlight, 2 that hold it to the frame, and 2 that hold the housing to the bracket that is attached to the frame. I know I probably didn't need to, but I took out all 4 so the bracked came out (whatever) but I still can't slide the headlight towards the center of the vehicle. This is the first car I had where I had to remove headlights to take off the bumper. I'm changing the foglights to HIDs and I got new housings for the sidemarkers or turn signals, whatever you want to call them, so need to get the entire bumper off.

I didn't have to take my bumper off to install hids in my fogs. Look under the car u will see I think 2 screws holding a plastic cover that u can remove and then install.

But you also have the formy/base front end.

Brett what I do is reach down infront of the radiator right behind the bumper
