Lock cylinder usually comes with a new key.

Well it's not starting up and it had to be that bc the bcm issues don't match up to what my car is doing

It is more likely the electrical ignition switch on the steering column under the dash.
The lock cylinder just moves a rod that goes to the electrical switch.

Lock cylinders are around $40. And come with a blank key, a chipped key would need to be made unless you have done the VATS bypass. A newer Ace Hardware or the dealer can make a key for u. If a new lock cylinder is what u need.
^^^^^ if it cranks but won't start, it's NOT the lock cylinder.

Did you really change the BCM?
If so you need to do the key relearn procedure.
