Rear end flexing

I have an 02 Z28 and everytime I change gears it sounds like the rear end is moving up and down. I had it looked at and the guy told me it was flexing when I shift and that it was normal. Anyone have any input on if this is true

I would check the trannsmission mount and the torque arm mount on the side of the transmission.
