Exclamation 350 built as a 327

i have been reading on the internet and found several guys taking the crank and rods out of a 327 and turning there 350 block into a 327. and they ended up with a running 327 my question is can it be done in reverse with no modifications to the block except changing the crank and rods?

I guess as long as it was a 350 crank and rods it should.

02 firebird sunset orange metallic. v6, auto, slp lid, zzp tubing, port matched upper and lower intake manifolds.

The 350 crank has a longer stroke, just under 1/4". Not sure if you'll have to grind the block for clearance or not. Why would you want to do that?

Yes, the 302, 327, and 350 both have the same 4" bore and you can change displacements by changing the crank and pistions. I have done this a couple times. The rods are the same unless you use the earlier small journal crank. The smaller bore (3 and 7/8 I believe)was common to 283 and 307.

the 307 used the same crank as the 327 though how is that possible?

The 307 has a 3.875" (3 7/8") bore, the 327 a 4".... Also how the 307 has a smaller displacement. Smaller bore. Both have the same stroke and rod length.
