it seems like most people so far like synthetic. I've thought about switching from conventional because my miles are creeping up on me :P ha

I've been using Mobil 1's Synthetic for High Mileage 10w-30 year round for a year or 2 now. Used to use Amsoil before that back when I was a dealer.

I used to use Penzoil until I noticed a trend of how disgusting engines that ran them internally looked. Now I use Castrol. For a new build, Joe Gibbs.

Oil is oil is oil for most cars.
Conventional is perfectly fine, just make sure you keep up on the changes.

Conventional oils have made tons of progress in terms of the way they compare to synthetics, really I would have no problem using either. Unless I had a built motor or something comparable.
