Based on my experience, more like 2-3 months.

Yeah over 5 years worth of shit. 2 failed IVF cycles, 170 shots that the wife had to take, surgery for me, countless doctor visits blah blah blah. Basically a shit ton of money.

In the end we adopted two embryos since ours weren't getting far enough along to continue with IVF and one stuck.

There was nothing wrong with her carrying a child it was getting to that stage.
