Hi from Sydney, Australia

am new to this forum, I have a 68 Camaro & a 97 Convertible Camaro, looking forward to filling in the gaps ! and also learning a thing or two. I do have an early question if I may, on the 97 which is a V6 3.8L the center bearing on the driveshaft needs replacing, is this a serviceable item ? I have managed to source the bearing (National HB-41) but the mechanic can't work out how to fit it over the driveshaft without breaking the other part first, of which we don't have a spare, any ideas anyone, do you just replace the split driveshaft with a single one ? cheers and thanks.

Welcome to The Zone !!!

Just replace the 2 piece driveshaft with a 1 piece. It is a direct swap from any 4th Gen f-body that has the 1 piece................and a whole lot better setup.
