Floor Mat/Carpet Color

I need to buy new floor mats. I have already tried to pick out the proper color on my own through an online dealer, and the color was wrong.

So my question is, how can I find out what the actual color of my carpet/floor mats was from the factory?

The color options most popular among online dealers for the 98 model Camaro is "Ebony", or "Graphite", but to me neither of those seem right when I hold my old mat up next to the monitor.

My floor mats/carpet (to me atleast) appears to be a very Dark Grey. The "Ebony" color seems to light, while the "Graphite" color seems too dark.

Anyone else got the Dark Grey interior that I have and know what the actual color is called?

Or an even better question, has anyone else replaced their floor mats and know which color is the closest option to pick for a good match?

Well, ebony is the name of the color in the '01 and '02 models, I believe '98-'00 color was called graphite. Chances of new floor mats matching the old carpet is slim. It's had over a decade of use and it's going to be faded and worn.

Anyone else have any ideas before I place the order?

Check my albums and if it's the same color as mine it's Graphite.

Sigh, how many times do interior color options need to be posted?

93-96: Graphite (dark grey)
97-99: Charcoal (grey)
00-02: Ebony (black)

Problem is GM colors don't match aftermarket colors. Most companies can send you sample pieces so you can order the right color the first time.

I was actually wondering about the lack of stickies on these forums. I try using the search first usually but I'm not gonna troll through 40 pages of 1 thread trying to find the info I need. Most people check the first page/post of a thread and if the info they want is not there they move on.
