Foggy headlights...

On 98-02 Camaro's... what causes the passenger headlight to fog up or discolor? I've seen on just about every Camaro. The drivers side (for the most part) is fine.

Cos in the USA we drive on the right side of the road ? .... All kidding aside, I would say its just coincidence that mostly the passenger side gets "hazy" .... Just buff them out or replace them with after market. Easy cure.

I've tried it all. Nothing seems to take care of it. I just purchased a new set.

well you just wasted alot of money.

but, for those of you who are wondering what to do about this, go to any auto parts store (advanced auto parts, etc etc) and buy a "wet sanding" headlight restoration kit. Remove your headlights (or leave them on. w/e) and follow the instructions.

The kit I used to restore mine was a 4 stage wet sanding treatment. Starting from 1 (rough) and getting progressively finer until stage 4, then take the included (or bought seperately) buffer ball with a drill motor and buff out the light fixture.

Looks like new, cost about $20.
