Any suggestions on removing highway stripe paint? I apparently drove through some that was wet. My wheel wells and a little of the body got splattered. I don't want to chance damaging the original paint and clear coat.. Thanks for any ideas

A couple of things come to mind that shouldn't damage the paint...
Try baby oil (mineral oil) on a Q-tip...leave it sit for a few hours and you may have to reapply. Baby oil is used to take off tar, and it does it rather quickly, but it will probably have to sit a while to soften the road paint.
After it has sat, apply more oil to a cloth and try to rub it off...DO NOT SCRUB the paint, but go over it in small circular motions. As always, try in an inconspicuous place first.
If that doesn't work, I've heard of people using WD-40 or petroleum jelly...some even use acetone or lacquer thinner, but those two can screw up your paint job unless you know what you're doing...
Home depot sells some graffiti remover that I heard works. I have to do the same thing on my TBSS soon. I got some yellow paint all down it at some point.
