Tire question...

I have 2 sets of 18" wheels with tires. One set (chrome) has 245/45-18's on them and they're bald. The other set has 235/50-18's on them. Does anyone know if the 235's will fit on the rims that currently have the 245's?

What kind of wheels? As long as they are these width, 18*9 or whatever, then they will fit.

The 235's are 10mm narrower than the 245's. that's just under 1/2 an inch. Yes, they will fit, but won't be as wide.

The rims that I want to use the tires from are 18x8 (factory 2011 Regal). I bought the chromes about 6 yrs ago for another car so the exact rims size, I don't remember. According to everywhere online, the rims (Fierro Spiders) are 18x7.5.
I'll try to stop at the shop I bought them from and make sure.

What vehicle will those be used on ? Those will be too narrow for a lot of horse power.
