I have all this from a 96 firebird so thought I would polish it instead of throwing it in the trash if anyone was interested in it. Would take me a few weeks to do and would sell for 250.00

here is how nice I get stuff, this is a 5.0 tpi system I am doing

here is the start of the 3800 manifold BTW

did a small test area and this manifold shined right up. Still have a lot of sanding to do but it should have a chrome like shine when done.

Where were you when I was still in the V6 game? Oh well, my Pontiac Blue and Silver engine was pretty tits without shine.

Hey any of you guys have a spare 3800 alternator for sale that works that I can polish

haha if you couldn't imagine keeping a 3.8 intake clean, here is another project I am working on. Fully polished 1990 corvette suspension.

here is the start of the lower intake, these are a pain to do but first you have to start sanding all the rough casting off

here is a test area, this is where the CTS sensor threads in.

More smoothing out of the plenum

still have a lot to go though.

Looks good man keep it up.

I will also be doing a 97 LT1 manifold. I have a spare being shipped for me to polish and after it's done, I will polish the one off my car as well

3800 manifold not easy to polish, mega sanding involved! But here is plenum progress.

On the drivers side of the plenum there is a casting ridge that runs the length of the manifoldI completely removed

the rear has its share of casting lines too. start of smoothing it out

passenger side not as hard but still a lot to do

small are that I polished quick to show you. it has even more potential for shine.

more polishing done, started on the fuel rails. Have a bit more finishing on them but they are shining right up.

here are my newest upcoming polishing projects. LT1 & crossfire injection manifolds. I have the twin throttle bodies for the CFI as well.

Looking for fuel rails for the LT1 though.

So had some spare time today. Spent about 2 hours on the LT1 manifold. Far Far from done but it is shaping up to. Not seeing any bad casting flaws so should be able to get a chrome shine out of it too.

LT1 manifold by far easier then 3.8 manifold, I will never do another 3.8 manifold again.

No progress done on the crossfire manifold though.

Just bought another LT1 complete intake setup from a 95 camaro. Got it for 120 shipped, has every possible thing on it.

LT1 manifold not for sale it will be going on my camaro, when I get the other lt1 manifold it will be sold after polish. Will sell for about 300
