I haven't tried a chip yet, what chips are you looking at for 60 bucks?

chips are a waste of money and will most likely do more harm than good. Get a tune by a tuner if you want gains.

Most chips require a lower temperature thermostat and modified exhaust, plus almost all chips change your fuel from 87 to 91 octane fuel.

I guess that guarantee is worthless if u can't prove there isn't a 60-75 hp increase. Can't prove unless u do a before and after "dyno" test.

Why don't you tell us where the 60-75hp is coming from then.

It must be magic.

Look at it realistically. You just cant get 75 horsepower out of an new PCM. The only way you could get that gain out of a tune, would be if you had mods to the engine that require a tune to work to its full potential. Those "performance chips" just lean the fuel/air mixture way out. If you really want a tune, go with PCMforless. It wont make huge gains, but its better than stock.

Go to a shop and have your car professionally tuned instead of ruining your car by a chip.

I always laugh at the one that is advertised on this site. At one point it said something like 119 horsepower gains

Like I said. It must be magic. You don't think by now we'd have figured out where to find those mysterious HPs that are hiding in our cars without needing some special chip to do the unlock for us??

thekillerbears,
What's amazing is that you believe the advertisement.
