I did not replace it with one from a Trailblazer, but I did make some changes to adjust the feel. The changes I made involved filing down the plastic on the turn signal cam where the metal tension bars contact the curved plastic channels and in the end made it feel old and worn - it did not feel like it was going to break, but it did feel "limp". What I would recommend is very carefully bending the flat-V shape metal tension pieces away from the plastic contact patch a tiny bit, so that there is still tension from the metal piece to the greased plastic, but not as much tension as stock. BTW, it helps to add a nice smooth grease between the metal and the plastic to help it move smoother.

So you start in the middle, adhesive the middle up, when that drys, glue the corners down then keep moving up/down?

I mean, the curve areas. It's impossible to fold those without pressure tearing at another side?

Dude, how did you tuck in all the curved parts? My dad, being the genious he is, worked on it when I went out the house and sprayed up the whole thing EXCEPT the ****ing corners...

No, I used these Pilot Automotive/Round driving lights (PL-820C) | Auxiliary Lights | AutoZone.com . I removed the black housing around them, but I still had to dremel away part of the bumper to get them to recess as far as I wanted.

I remember you saying before that your front bumper is from an earlier model, so it doesn't have the bird emblem. Have you ever thought about putting the decal on there that is made for that spot? Or do you think that would look dumb?
