Camaro fans are excited to see what is happening with the brand new fifth-generation Camaro. Since its reintroduction in 2010, the Camaro has been dominating sales over Detroit’s “big three” American Muscle with the Mustang galloping close behind. Chevrolet has released a teaser grille shot of the new SS.
With the upcoming New York Auto show looming near later this month where the Camaro is expected to be unveiled, it was only a matter of time before a small teaser gets fans amped up about the unveiling of the whole car.
The grille pictured above is slightly thinner and restyled from the current Camaro grille. It also sports chrome trim on the top. Besides that, not much is known or seen regarding the new Chevy. It’s not much, but it’s just enough to get people excited to see what the rest of the car will look like.
“The 2014 model represents the most significant change for the fifth-generation Camaro, which has been the most popular sports car in America for three consecutive years. The new Camaro will be joined by the all-new Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet SS performance sedan, completing the line of new performance vehicles Chevrolet will offer for 2014,” Chevy said in their press release.
Besides the debut of the 1’4 Camaro SS, a new high-performance car is said to debut an SS sedan which made was unveiled in Daytona last month. Expect to see the ’14 Corvette Stingray Convertible to really make a statement later this year in the United States after making a scene in Geneva earlier with its global debut.
