A/C Acuator or Blend door

I need help!!!! My A/C and heat only blow out of the defrost vent and floor vents. Every mechanic I have taken my 95 Camaro 3.8 V6 to they say they can’t find the acuator and claim there’s nothing wrong with the switch. Does anyone know where the acuator or blend door is?

Send a message via AIM to 96firephoenix
you probably have a leak in the vacuum lines. There's a T fitting on the passenger side of the firewall that is prone to breaking. I had to fix it in both of my 3.8 cars.

make sure you have good solid vacuum before you try to dig for the blend actuator - it's buried in the dash behind the radio, I think.

What 96firephoenix said, defrost and floor are the default for a vacuum failure.
Here is an image of it thanks to shbox.com:

I apologize for the ignorance but I’m learning. Where would I find this vacuum failure? Mine is doing the same thing and no mechanic can find the actuator as well which was puzzling to me.
