Car wont start: Battery good..
Drove my car to work yesterday everything fine. Went to leave work, put keys in ignition and the radio.. air... annoying door ajar ring... almost everything turned on besides the dash cluster. From what i have read on other forums it could me 1 of a hundred things. bad fuses (replaced) bad ignition relay or starter relay, bad battery (new battery) and lastly a bed key chip. does anyone have recommendations to check next or have had this issue? this is my daily driver so i could really use some help ASAP!! Thanks

I was having this issue, turned out the negative battery cable had some slightly loose. Tightening it fixed the problem...I was about to run out and get a new battery!

I experienced the same problem, and my starter was the culprit.

I am having same issue with my '97 Camaro Z28 V8. So I gather this no-start problem could be a number of things? I don't really know where to begin looking for what could be the cause....When I turn the key, door bell and some interior lights come on, but nothing on the dash. One attempt to start the car, when I turned the key, the security light came on just for a split second on the dash and then went off again but nothing else; no clicking when I turn the key. Tried a new battery but same issue still present. What could be causing this? I am a new Camaro owner so any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank [email protected]

I would suspect the electric ignition switch on top of the steering column under the dash.
They are known to fail like this and do what yours is doing.
Also possible the connector to the switch is bad.

So, is there a way to test if the ignition switch is bad? I'm not very tech saavy when it comes to electrical. Willing to learn though.
