KEY FOB Replacements

Have programmed several OEM chevy keyfobs in the past for my 1996 Camaro.

Purchased some new aftermarket ones on ebay but can't seem to get the car to go into programming mode. Followed the instructions in the manual, and basically the same info online..

After turning the ignition to run 3 times, (ending in run position) the car is supposed to respond by locking/unlocking the doors. But nothing.. Hmmm.

Am I missing something??

Hi there,
I'm also am having the same problem on a 97 convertible, together with an OEM replacement and an Ebay purchase seems I can only pair one keyfob and not two either the ebay or OEM and not both anyone got any ideas? An auto electrician also had no luck
