nah im not a racer actually..i go to the meets n race once in a while..but i dnt since my car isnt fast

Then save your money bro. Just do some appearance mods and under the hood dress up for the meets if you don't race. I'm sure the car sounds fine without a cam.

wow someone has a lil of extra time on their hands..and yes ive raced all those times in 5years of having a car..if that puts me in the racer category then so be it..POINT is im interested in the cam cuz how my car will drive and cuz of the extra power it will give it point,blank,period..

For extra oomph, id stick to minor bolt-ons, IE. Headers, exhaust, intake. not something you have to tear into the engine to do. Then if you need more, get a cam. I want a cam because i have the basic bolt-ons and im still slow..and a cammed LS1 sounds godly.

thanks bro n its cool...but yeah ive tried getting another v8 again..but at the moment im sticking with the 6..i was planning on putting cams if i was to keep it..but i keep finding nice lt1 out there for the low..but i want an ls1 so idk..its an option

im not doing it to race tho..i just want a dependable camaro that sounds great n when its time to step on it it blows ppl speacially mustangs n 350z

ok..........abbott n/a cam........pretty much have to upgrade springs and thats about all thats needed to run it. You could invest in some other head work, not mandatory tho, maybe a double roller timing chain too.

or go intense stage 1 cam....i think you can run that cam on a stock tune LOL, I would get a tune, but I think you can get away without one.

if i was to keep my v6 i would get a better clutch with short shifter,corsa or borla exhaust,a real k&n intake or slp,probably upgrade my heads,for sure bigger injectors and last would be cam and a tune...thats wut i would do

why do work on your heads....without a cam? I mean, you should do all that at once, so you dont have to change parts later if needed. Abbott n/a cam and stage 2 or 3 heads (you decide) then go from there.

as far as injectors....not needed for bolt ons. Wouldnt even new injectors for a intense stage 1 cam. Hell i think stock injectors could even keep up with abbott n/a cam, granted youd be damn close to maxing them out all the time. No need for injectors unless cam or FI comes into play.
