Radio wiring question

My car had no radio in it when I got it ,but still had fact connectors I got a real nice stock radio out of a 91 firebird but if I recall it had only 2 connectors on it I have 3 in my car I hooked up 2 of them I think I can hook up all 3 but I don't wanna kill the radio right now it works but equalizer does not light up and tape deck not working .the serv manual does not give a clear pic or schemtic of this any thoughts?

What year is your car? The tape not playing, I will guess, is an issue with the player itself. Light not working on the EQ, could be a bulb (internal) burnt out. This is a chance one takes on using used equipment. Why not just install an after market deck? Would be better quality anyway.

Yes it could be the radio is junk but I would like to find out what each wire does in each connector the car is a 89

Yes aftermarket would sound great and work better but at car shows lots of people commented on the car still has a fact radio ! Wow that's cool ! lol

Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Orange
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Yellow
Car Radio Ground Wire: Black
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Gray
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Brown
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: Pink
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Amplifier Location: N/A
Car Audio Front Speakers Size: 4″ x 6″ Speakers
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: Dash
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Tan
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Green
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: 6″ x 9″ Speakers
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: Side Panels
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Blue
