Need Help

I'm a newbie in need of some help. I have a 1995 Z28 Camaro. its been sitting for over a year. I drained the radiator an replaced the thermostat. I don't have a manual. Can anyone explain the procedure for filling the radiator.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Need Help

Sitting for over a year, you'll want to do a coolant system flush before refilling. Once flushed, refill with antifreeze, a 50/50 ratio with water. Fill radiator, then with radiator Cap off, start engine, let idle, do not rev, then add coolant as needed til it stays full. Install cap, then fill coolant recovery tank to the fill line.
While you're at it, make sure all fluids are full, oil, trans, rear differential. Also, sitting so long, car will need an oil change and probably a fuel tank drain and new fuel added with a new fuel filter. Car sitting for over a year, the gas will be bad.

Are you trying to start it with year old fuel?

What was the reason why the car was sitting for over an year? Could use new spark plugs, spark plug wires. Hope the Opti-spark is good. Will need to test for sure ignites getting spark and fuel. "Process of illumination" is key.

Its my stepmothers car. Her son had it for a year. put new top an tires on it. My wife drove it a couple of times. it was having overheating issues an was left to sit for a year. trying to get it back up for mom to drive everyday.
It stated an drove over to the flat ground i put it on to work on it. i drove it up some ramps to drain the oil and radiator. Did the oil change and replaced radiator plug. started it long enough to back it off the ramps. turned it off. Put the radiator flush in and now it rolls over and won't start.
