Red Trim Replacement

So i'm taking the trim along the door off my car because it's really faded but the paint underneath is kind of messed up as well. So then one of my friends gave me the idea to buy new black trim and put it on there. If someone could do a quick photoshop of what it would look like i would really appreciate it So yeah what do you guys think of the idea? It's the red bars that run along the middle of your door

It would look like a really low pin stripe. Meh, just repaint them red

I would get black ones (or any color) and paint them red.

actually, I would keep them off.

Real ghetto-like i put on electrical tape to see what it would look like. It looks wierd at first but the more i looked at it from different angles it actually kind of grows on you. Your first reaction may be eww but think about it im kind of actually considering it.
