2015 lt1 bumpy ride

I just bought a '15 camaro LT 1 with 25k. Took it for a test drive n noticed it's a very bumpy ride. When I commented on this to salesman, he replied "that's a camaro" unfortunately to my better judgement I didn't question it. The car is for my wife n she loves the look of the camaro n didn't mind the harsh ride. I've never driven a camaro before so I have nothing to compare with, and once again against my better judgement I didn't test drive any other camaro to compare with. She wanted that ONE so that's what we got. So is it true a camaro ride is that bumpy unless you get a SS or magnetic ride? I feel every imperfection on road. Is there something I can do or just live with it?

I cant imagine that it is supposed to ride like that. I test drove a 2012 v6 and a 2012 ss and both rode very smooth.

My 2010 2ss has what I would call a firm suspension but I wouldn't call it bumpy of rough . Maybe you should of drove more than 1 so you would have something to compare to.

I don't mind a firm suspension but I was expecting a smoother ride. I live in New England where the roads aren't perfect. So I'm hoping that I'm just being to critical. I have a 2012 chevy cruze that's a way smoother ride. I realize it's a totally different vehicle. And I Definetly regret not test driving another camaro to compare mine too. Live n learn I guess.

After having just been in a 2012 cruze with 30k on it for a rental, I felt every bump in the road... It was smooth going down the road, but you could feel everything.

I have been in several of my customer's new camaros and I feel the same thing. If you went to a smoother ride then the handling gets compromised. Does that camaro have a performance factory suspension package in it? I have a customer with a LT that came factory suspension package, a couple other options....

But if your wife is happy with it. I would leave it be!

I'm assuming the car came with Pirelli tires. I know a lot of people who noticed a huge difference in ride comfort after changing to a different tire.

That's your problem right there. Heavier car plus bad roads. The Cruze is lighter, thats why you can feel the difference. I imagine a 2015 Camaro has pretty decent suspension, so your probably going to have to upgrade it to get max comfort, or leave it as is if your wife is content with it, or just go with another car altogether
