Anxiety Due to Lockdowns

I feel like this year had just passed. A lot has happened and can't say I didn't look forward to seeing tomorrow every day. There are some people who had it pretty hard and struggled with mental health issues like anxiety and depression.

How were you affected by the lockdowns? Did you struggle with mental health issues?

It's kind of lonely for me as I don't get to see my relatives and friends. At first, I don't know how I'd go around the new normal, but I told myself that change is inevitable, and the world is not going to stop spinning just because I cannot keep up.

So true. That's very optimistic of you. Great job. Check out this article https://www.endsocialisolation.org/covid19. Talks about loneliness. Hope you had a great holiday!

Thank you for sharing that. This pandemic made us realize and feel more alone than ever. It made me think that in the end, it's all going to be every man for himself.

No worries. That's the more reason we have to feel comfortable and happy with ourselves, which also means we have to show compassion to others. We feel whole when we know we've done well not only for ourselves.

Cds

CDS: Corona Derangement Syndrome. Something you get from being locked down after you finish sharpening and polishing all of your finish nails and alphabetizing your nuts and bolts.

Thanks! Isolation is hard when we are used to being around people, even strangers.

I miss seeing random people laughing without care about any virus. Nowadays, people look scared or I dunno, hard to tell without a mask. But they ain't happy for sure.
